Taken with an Santa Barbara Instruments Group ST-8. Four 20 second exposures RGB and luminance, processed in Software Bisque CCDSoft. Taken with the Telescopes In Education 24 inch Cole telescope at Mount wilson Observatory, California in 2005.

Hi everyone,

I tried using my GoPro hero 12 black to grab some astro pics. Haven’t tried before and this was the first attempt. The sky wasn’t great and also my scope has no tracking. I know the images aren’t good, but personally I didn’t expect this much from an action camera!

Scope- Skywatcher starquest 130p

I’m looking to improve this and hoping capture the moon and planets next time.

This was in the night, with both max and min ISO set up to 1600 on a GoPro Hero 12. It made this to look like there are stars in daylight :slightly_smiling_face:
