03/14/2025 Pie Day Total Lunar Eclipse Umbra

I arranged my images to show the full scale of Earth’s Umbra at the lunar distance during both phases of the eclipse.
My partial eclipse images for this project were all captured at 1/60 sec at 100 ISO at 6 minute intervals using a Sky-Watcher Esprit 150ed refractor and a Canon RP camera.

Camera left stationary during entire eclipse.
Images used are at 5 minute intervals.
Combined in GIMP.

@Nikolai-De-Silva every once in a while i can hold the phone perfectly still on the eyepiece and pull something like this off

got up early this morning tried to get a shot of the smiley face but it was too foggy so just concentrated on the moon wirh the DSLR

It’s always great when a thread just dies out and nobody responds to the conversation .
Maybe others aren’t getting notifications on threads they’re following as is what’s been happening to me the last month or so . I was getting them for a bit then they just stopped . I don’t know if it has anything to do with the Space Store ripping me off but the timing of it all is somewhat suspect .
