I was drawn into this hobby by my wife who wanted to see Saturn. A couple of outreach programs and looks through numerous scopes including a look through the 36 inch reflector named Big Blue at the Warren Rupp Observatory, and I was all in. I started with a 10 inch dob, added the 16 inch. The 4 inch frac is my travel scope. The 10 inch SCT was given to me by a friend. I also have a 40mm Lunt solar scope and a 20x80 pair of Oberwork binoculars. I guess you can say I am all in.
