I have a Celestron Lunar Edition Starsense Explorer 100DX. I’m new to it and would like some advice regarding if its a good one for beginners. I notice objects(started with moon or jupiter) I focus on shakes a lot. Any advice regarding this?
@Amrutha_Dhanakumar it is your basic beginners scope. Kind of on the fast side at F6.6. Its a 4 inch and it will max out around 200x. The eyepieces that come with them will be ok at best. Probably a 10mm and a 25mm for 60 power and 26 power. The 10mm is your high power and 25mm is your low power. You will notice a improvement with better eyepieces. Keep in mind this is just a 4 inch scope. Its good for bright things. The Moon, the planets to a degree and the brightest of the bright in the deep sky. Play with it and enjoy it.
