Share your Comet Lemmon images with us ☄

Hello everyone :waving_hand:

We’ve got an exciting celestial event happening right now, and we want to hear about your experiences! Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) is currently gracing our skies, and as this article from Astronomy editor Michael Bakich explains now is the perfect time to observe it.

If you’ve already had a chance to see it, share your experiences and any photos you’ve captured in this thread. We’d love to hear about your observations, what equipment you used, and any tips you have for fellow forum members.

This is a rare opportunity to see this particular celestial visitor, as it won’t be back for over a thousand years!

So, get out there, look up, and be sure to come back and tell us all about it.

Clear skies!

I am absolutely no astrophotographer and it’s no longer at its best, but it was still visible from the suburbs! Taken on the 26th with my iPhone 16 Pro, I think this was a 10-second exposure.

You certainly got a great picture!

Thank you! It’s essentially what I did for Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, although that one was admittedly brighter when I caught it.
