Hey everyone, I recently built and deployed a modern time zone intelligence tool called findtime(dot)io, and recently added a proper astronomy section because, honestly, I couldn’t find a site that did it the way I wanted. Most time utility sites with astronomy sections feel like they haven’t been updated since 2008; cluttered, slow, old tech, and hard to actually use on mobile. So I decided to modernize it, just like I did with the time utility portion. I’m genuinely proud of it, and with the Total Lunar Eclipse on March 3rd less than two days away, I figured this was the right moment to share it with the community.
What the March 3rd eclipse page has:
- Shows the full visual path across Earth
- Eclipse intensity along the path
- Enter your city to see exactly when each phase starts and ends for your location
- 2D and 3D globe visualization you can actually interact with
- FAQ’s
The broader astronomy hub also covers moon phases, meteor showers, full calendar of upcoming eclipses, and seasonal equinoxes; all in the same clean interface. Would love feedback from people who actually know their stuff. If something is wrong or missing, or you have a feature you want, I want to fix it and add it for you!
For you Eclipse chasers, I think you will also find the main time zone site extremely beneficial in finding and comparing times across the world!
Thank you everyone!
