New slide show... Fall 2025

So, when I get a ton of images I like to put together a new video for the teachers to use if they would like for the local schools.
When one of the Grand Daughter’s teachers was talking about Nebula, she asked the class if they knew what they were. Ava held up her hand and said, “Yes, my Grandpa takes pictures of them then posts them to his YouTube Channel for kids.” The teacher requested she email her links, and she decided to use 3 of mine with another teacher for their curriculum. Well, bust my buttons!
I decided I better up my game if the schools would be using something I put together. I was overdue for some upgrades anyway. So about 2 years ago I made some major changes.
I’ve long been on YouTube for Kids. My hope is it might spark some interest for the youngsters.
Here is some of the fruits of that labor…

Thank You, friends.
Ava (12, 7th grade now) really liked it and emailed the link to her 5th grade teacher to share.
Makes this Grandpa happy!

Her favs are the Jellyfish and the Rosette nebulas.
I like these better than static presentations. But they can stop with a click to enjoy the detail.

That’s awesome! Love that your work is inspiring kids and even making it into classrooms—so cool. Nice pictures!:+1: Is that your channel, ‘Sonny Edmonds’?

Thank You, Nikolai!
The teacher wanting to use them and sharing it with another 5th grade teacher inspired me to do more, and to try and do better.
So, it led me down the rabbit hole to better equipment. Which led me to getting serious with NINA for automating my gathering after choosing an object for the night. (Or 2…)
I enjoy trying to help.

Thank You, Nikolai.
I don’t often post, I mostly collect. But when I do you’ll know.

Making these is what I like to do with my images.
