Well after kicking it around for a good while, I pulled the trigger on a Astro Tech 4.8mm 110 degree eyepiece. This eyepiece won’t get a lot of use but i will have it when i need it.

Well according to tracking it should be here Thursday. The down side is… I have to rework the 2 inch case… again

And here it is. The Astro Tech 4.8/110 degree eyepiece. In the 16 inch i am now covered from 400x down to 60x

@beagle1 yeah there is a dollar or two there i suppose. For me to use it in my 16 or 10 inch it will take a very special kinda of night. The scope that will probably see it the most is the 4 inch refractor. It should do especially well in it.

@beagle1 not yet. It is going to be a minute till we get a night like that. We need high pressure, low humidity and no jet stream for me to use that eyepiece
