I don’t either . Even if I had the budget for it . I remember going to star parties years ago with a neighbor friend of mine . He would spend the entire night in frustration trying to get a mediocre image while I was getting great eyepiece views of amazing stuff . I was relaxing and enjoying the evening while he’d be kicking and cussing the whole time . :sunglasses:

Have to give credit where it is due, its all because of this little guy. We do little more then press the enhance button on the phone or tablet and thats what comes out. The Stellina is dated tech no days and there area couple of options out there significantly cheaper, so if you want to go this way you can do it on the cheap, so start saving up

They dont make the Stellina anymore and it has been replaced by a newer model. I wish they had made upgraded model or a Stellina Pro…that would have been awesome

As to the clock, its been sitting there for decades and it hasnt worked in many years

With the Stellina we just set it up and turn it on. It looks around the sky and says this is what i can see. It runs off of an app and the the wife has a dedicated tablet for it. It has a 80mm objective and i believe it is F5. It has a built in dew heater so that takes care of any dew issues. Updates are done via the app and sometimes it throws a wrench in the works but it is usually dealt with by shutting down everything and restarting. It is AP for people who dont want to mess with it the conventional way
