My favorite DSO is M31 aka Andromeda Because It is coming to merge with our galaxy, Most interesting thing is I can see it even in minimum fog or cloudy weather from my location. Has anyone Checked that, it is amazing that it is getting Brighter overtime, but I was not expecting that many increases in brightness.

In my lifetime it has gotten dimmer thanks to light pollution. I can usually see it naked eye, but sometimes i have to work for it.

No really favorite for me.
Easier to say M42, because it was what grabbed me and I was hooked.
I still hold The Great Orion Nebula as my demise into the Astro poorhouse.
My favourite would be abireo or Orion

My favourite is the Orion Nebula (Messier 42)
Since my childhood, I have always wondered about this specific object due to it’s massive, glowing formation. I also like other Nebula’s but my favourite is Orion due to it’s uniqueness.
