Dwarflab2 and horsehead nebula

I have had a couple of attempts in the past but this is the best one so far the dwarf isn’t ideal for it but I think it turned out ok without filters, I have a duo band filter on order so maybe get better images, we will see.

You’re getting there. Keep after it.
Center on Reflection Nebula IC 435. That should get you centered better.

yep I knew it would be offset it was coming over the horizon and my big gum tree was to the right of it but didn’t want my chance to capture it lost as it was close to my site all good but I like the comments keep them coming

Okay, that explains the off-set.
As winter sets in Orion will be climbing in the Southern Skies. I think it was around November or the beginning of December in 2012 that I finally found The Great Orion Nebula. I was using a Redfield spotting scope I had inherited from my Dad. I was hooked!
I began searching for images. Decided I needed to make my own, and began this long journey into Astronomy and Astrophotography.

Keep an eye on Orion as it rises in the Southern Skies.
You may not have to move too far to improve your view.
