I love looking at the night sky. I have been doing observations with a telescope since I received a small refractor scope as a young boy. My first scope was a 3-inch refractor from Sears and Roebuck. I moved up to a 4-inch reflector scope from the Edmund Scientific Company. My current scope is an AstroView 120 scope from Orion. I made a record of my observations every time I used my scopes. I live in an urban setting, so I battle light pollution a lot and the neighbors garage lights at times. I would like to get into astrophotography and have been looking at scopes that would be good for a novice astronomer like me.
