Don’t want to be too specific, but a small town on the east side of the northern Rockies!
After last night i am going to have to do something sooner rather then later. Maybe i will drive over to the store today and just get it done
So I gave the new S25 Ultra a run last night and a bit this morning with the moon and m45 deal. These are just set on the automatic night mode and not the AP setting. Keep in mind i have had this phone for less then 24 hours and no squat all about manual settings.
And for grins i tried to use the AP setting on a short time shot. Again i was just holding it by hand and obviously not steady enough to get a good picture, but the potential is there
Really nice! Yeah, I used to set mine down on rocks, etc. but I recently got a little phone tripod and it’s helped a lot!
I have a tripod just need an adapter that fits it. I also have a Vaonis Hestia. I am giving some thought to figuring out a way to mount the Hestia to my refractor on its tracking mount. Any way while they are not perfect images they show the potential.
So the other night we gave the Samsung Ultra’s AP setting its first test run.
We have the Andromeda Galaxy…the little fuzzball and you can just make out M110 with it and two shots of Orion and the Nebula. All shots were taken automatically with no changes other then me cropping them down a bit. We have a lot to learn about this but we will get it all figured out.
Wow, that’s really cool actually!
Somewhere i have a picture of Orion where you can just catch the Flame Nebula. There is no detail per say, but you can tell its there. I was kind of impressed with that.
hi Mike are starting to get your head around the new phone?
Hey Ken, not really just yet. I am gaining on it a little but have a ways to go before i really wrap my head completely it.
I reckon it wont be long before you get an astro cam hanging off your gear
Oh hell no! I am first and foremost a visual guy. This is just me playing around.
Here you go Ken. I took this pic of the moon last night. Focusing in the Pro Raw manually is touchy, but this isnt terrible.
not bad for a phone image
Thanks Ken, just need to get a handle on the focus thing. Its really touchy
So i have been playing around with the astrophotography setting on the phone. M42, the moon with venus, and Orion
A good collection of nice imagen
Regards
@Angel_Manuel_Lopez thank you.
