Samsung S25+ has a pretty cool new feature that lets you get up to 12 minutes of exposure. Looking forward to the next Aurora Borealis where I live for some nice photos! Not sure what causes the different colors though. The greenish one was taken on when the moon was out, reddish one was moonless.

I am going to be replacing this old phone with one of the Samsung Ultras just because the camera has a really good camera for astro.

Yeah, definitely look into the specs and trade-in deals. The astro setting comes with the free camera add-on app called “Samsung Camera RAW” just so you know.
