So where does one find (set 2) and (set 3) ?
Now I’m stuck with two sets as I picked up the second one to give as a gift , two sets of worthless flash cards I guess they’ll be going in the trash . I just can’t believe they’d sell these where you need to buy multi sets just to cover all 110 Messier objects . And then pawn off leftovers of (set 1) when nothing else is even available . All these years I thought if you bought a set of Messier flash cards that it would actually be a set of Messier flash cards .

Yeah , I’m gonna give them a call and see if they’ll substitute something that can actually be used . They should be telling people that these are not a full set of 110 and they are just leftovers of set 1 whole set 2 & 3 are no longer available . I mean what good is it to have one third of the messier objects in a flash card set ?

They sure aren’t making an attempt to let you know that it’s not a complete nor are they letting you know that the rest of them are unavailable I mean why would anybody buy set 1 when they can’t get ahold of set 2 or 3 ? It basically renders your set worthless . All it seems they’re doing is pawning off overstock onto unsuspecting customers . They were only like $2.35 per set but I certainly wouldn’t have spent the money on one set let alone two thinking it would make a great gift for somebody knowing it was only one third of the Messier objects and the other two thirds were no longer available .

I didn’t need them . I learned the night sky long ago . I just thought since I had that gift card , I’d grab a couple sets . I’ve seen them listed for years on their website store and always kinda wanted a set just for kicks and I figured I’d gift the other set to one of the grandkids or something . I mean who makes a set of Messier flash cards that you need to buy three different sets just to get a set ? 
I guess Astronomy Magazine does .
Never in the 20 of seeing them advertised did I ever once have the impression that it wasn’t a complete set of 110 cards . It’s poor of them to market the thing the ways it’s been for all that time . Totally misleading .

I too got messier flash cards. Yeah, there are only 36, and they’ve picked some random 36. As you told, it’s called the Set 1, but you can’t find the other sets!
