Earn points every month by being an engaged and active member of the Astronomy.com Forum! Your activity is tracked and rewarded, and at the start of each month, everyone gets a fresh start as points reset to zero. Here’s how you can earn points:
Likes Received: +1 point
Invite Sent (and Sign-Up Occurs): +20 points
Every Hour Spent Reading: +10 points
Every 100 Posts Read: +10 points
Topic Created: +2 points
Post Created: +2 points
Daily Visit: +2 points
It’s simple: stay active, contribute to discussions, and watch your points grow each month! 
At the start of each month, the leaderboard resets, giving everyone another chance to rise through the ranks and earn rewards. 
Rewards Tiers
Here’s what you can earn based on your total points in the forum each month:
Tier 1 (201–250 points): $25 gift card
Tier 2 (251–300 points): $50 gift card
Tier 3 (301–350 points): $75 gift card
Tier 4 (351+ points): $100 gift card
All rewards will be virtual gift cards to The Space Store, where you can shop for space-themed merchandise, telescopes, and more!
How to Check Your Points
Want to see how you’re doing? There are two ways to track your progress:
Leaderboard: Located in the left menu, the leaderboard shows the top scorers of the month so you can see where you rank among other members.
Your Profile: Click on your profile to view your current points total at any time.
